April has been designated National Autism Awareness Month in America since the 1970s with the goal of educating the public about autism and issues within the autism community. With autism prevalence now one in every 110 children in America, education is paramount.
FACE Autism, Inc., a local non-profit agency supporting families of children with autism since 2009, is organizing their first annual Autism Fair to provide families with children diagnosed with autism, and those who believe they may have a child suffering from autism, with the available resources to assist them in their child's development from diagnosis and beyond.
